**Ukraine Reshuffles Diplomatic Team**
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has made a number of key appointments to the country’s diplomatic team. These changes come after a significant reshuffle within Ukraine’s government earlier this year.
Zelensky announced that over 30 new appointments have been approved, including some important roles in international organizations. He said that formal decrees will be issued soon, following official procedures.
**New Appointments**
Three key people were appointed to important positions:
* Nariman Dzhelyal: A former prisoner who was released from Russian captivity in June 2024. He will now serve as Ukraine’s representative to Turkey.
* Alyona Getmanchuk: A Ukrainian foreign policy analyst and expert. She has been appointed as Ukraine’s representative to NATO.
* Andrii Melnyk: The current Ambassador to Brazil, who was previously the Ambassador to Germany.
**Changes in Government**
These appointments come after a change in leadership for Ukraine’s foreign ministry. Last month, parliament confirmed Andrii Sybiha as the new foreign minister, replacing Dmytro Kuleba.
