**Netherlands to Provide Ukraine with Military Aid**
The Dutch Defense Ministry has announced plans to supply Ukraine with air defense systems, tanks, artillery, and demining equipment. This is part of the country’s military aid for 2025.
The Netherlands has increased its support for Ukraine in recent years. In 2024, it pledged nearly $2.5 billion in aid alone. The Dutch government has also committed to providing F-16 fighter jets and various types of ammunition to Ukraine.
**Meeting with Ukrainian Delegation**
A meeting between the Dutch Defense Ministry and representatives from Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces was held recently. During the meeting, Major General Arno Stallmann reiterated the country’s priority commitment to the Drone Coalition and reminded attendees of a previously announced €400 million investment in UAV production.
The meeting focused on priority areas for next year’s support from the Netherlands, including the delivery of additional spare parts for F-16 aircraft. Brigadier General Oleksandr Klochko, Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Defense, expressed deep gratitude for the F-16 jets and emphasized their critical role in combat.
**Ukraine’s Ongoing Efforts**
The Ukrainian delegation underscored the need for more F-16 spare parts to enhance the aircraft’s operational survivability. They also discussed details of their combat missions. Deputy Defense Minister Volodymyr Boiev highlighted Ukraine’s ongoing efforts to expand its domestic defense industry, stating that they have outlined priorities for production in 2025.
**Netherlands’ Commitment**
Major General Stallmann thanked Ukraine for sharing its battlefield expertise and stated that the Netherlands is committed to maintaining this leadership and continuing to provide support as long as necessary. He also mentioned that the Netherlands will continue to provide training for Ukrainian pilots.
In November, the Netherlands transferred three Patriot missile launcher units to Ukraine, providing critical air defense support amid ongoing Russian attacks.
