**Government Officials Face Financial Losses Due to Sanctions**
The leader of Strong Georgia, Ana Natsvlishvili, has spoken out against the current government’s plan to compensate high-ranking officials who have suffered financial losses due to sanctions. According to Natsvlishvili, these individuals had hidden their illegally obtained assets in countries where sanctions have been imposed.
**New Elections Are the Only Solution**
Natsvlishvili emphasized that new elections are the only way to resolve the ongoing crisis in Georgia. She believes that the country needs a fresh start, with new standards and a fair electoral process. The current government, she says, is illegitimate and violent.

Natsvlishvili questioned how officials on government salaries could accumulate wealth by hiding assets abroad. She suggested that this wealth was likely obtained through exploiting the Georgian people. Kobakhidze‘s admission that his government members suffered financial losses due to sanctions, she said, only confirmed this.

The OSCE/ODIHR report on the October 26 elections has been cited as further evidence of the need for new elections. Natsvlishvili pointed out that the current government has captured all state institutions, leading to a large-scale crisis.
