Famous Georgian Leader Fined for Blocking Road
Nika Gvaramia, a well-known leader in Georgia‘s Coalition for Change, was recently fined by the Tbilisi City Court. He was ordered to pay 5,000 Gel (about $1,600 USD) for blocking a road.
According to reports, Gvaramia was accused of organizing a blockade on Chavchavadze Avenue. However, he did not attend the court hearing where the fine was decided. The court made its decision in his absence.
Gvaramia confirmed the fine on social media, stating that the Tbilisi City Court had indeed fined him 5,000 Gel for unlawfully blocking a road.
