Businessman Speaks Out on Economic Plans
A Georgian businessman has shared his thoughts on the country’s economic future. Irakli Iashvili was invited to a meeting and attended.
Iashvili expressed concern about plans to change the value of the lari, the national currency. He believes that 30 years of hard work have gone into building up the economy and the lari should be kept stable.
The businessman stated, “I understand the demands for change, but I don’t agree with devaluing the lari.” Iashvili also mentioned that he does not support a petition calling for changes to the economy.
