**Russian Advances Near Donetsk Oblast**
Russia has been pushing to capture the remaining parts of Donetsk Oblast for months. The focus has been on cities like Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, and others that are considered strongholds by Ukraine.
**Kursk Oblast Advancements**
In Russia’s Kursk Oblast, Moscow’s troops have advanced east of Kruglenkoye. While this is confirmed by geolocated footage from December 21, further advances in other areas like Kruglenkoye and Kurilovka are claimed by Russian military bloggers but remain unconfirmed.
**Advances Near Kupiansk and Toretsk**
Russian forces have made marginal advances near the administrative border of Luhansk and Kharkiv oblasts. Ukrainian forces, however, successfully repelled a Russian mechanized assault near Synkivka. In northern Toretsk, Russian forces have achieved advances, as confirmed by geolocated footage from December 22.
**Pokrovsk Advances**
Russian forces have advanced in and seized western Dachenske, according to geolocated footage from December 22. These developments are a part of Russia’s ongoing efforts to capture the remaining parts of Donetsk Oblast.
