**Germany Halts Projects in Georgia**
The German government has stopped several projects worth 237 million euros in Georgia. This decision was made by the German ambassador, Peter Fischer.
These projects include:
* Green hydrogen production
* Energy grid and water infrastructure in Batumi, a city in western Georgia
* Funding for civil society and rule of law remains unaffected
The reason for suspending these projects is due to Georgia’s departure from its path towards joining the European Union (EU) and harsh measures taken against protesters.
