**Russian Strikes Kill 2, Injure 5 in Ukraine**
Over the past day, Russian strikes against Ukraine killed two civilians and injured five. The attacks targeted several regions across Ukraine.
**Drones Launched from Russia**
On December 24, Ukrainian authorities reported that Russian forces launched 60 drones at Ukraine overnight from cities in Russia. The Air Force said the drones were launched from Bryansk, Millerovo, and Primosk-Akhtarsk.
**Many Drones Shot Down**
Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, and mobile firing groups shot down 36 of the drones. Some 23 more drones were lost allegedly due to electronic warfare countermeasures.
**Settlements Targeted in Kherson Oblast**
In Kherson Oblast, Russian forces targeted 38 settlements, including the regional center of Kherson. One person was killed and another two injured as a result of the attacks, according to Governor Oleksandr Prokudin.
**Other Attacks Reported**
In Donetsk Oblast, one person was injured in the embattled city of Pokrovsk, while another was killed in the town of Kostiantynivka. In the town of Siversk, one person was injured, Governor Vadym Filashkin reported.
