**Russian Missile Enters Moldovan Airspace**
Moldova‘s President Maia Sandu has confirmed that a Russian missile entered the country’s airspace on Christmas morning. This happened during Russia‘s mass attack on Ukraine.
**Russia Attacks Ukraine’s Energy Infrastructure**
On December 25, Russia launched more than 70 missiles and over 100 drones at Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. At least one person was killed, and six others were injured in this attack.
**Missile Tracked Towards Chernivtsi**
Ukraine’s Air Force reported that a cruise missile was flying towards the western town of Chernivtsi from Moldova. This is a clear sign of Russia’s aggression.
**Moldova Condemns Russian Attack**
President Sandu has condemned Russia’s attack and said it “clearly violates international law“. She also expressed full solidarity with Ukraine.
**Missile Also Enters Romanian Airspace?**
Some monitoring channels reported that the Russian missile also entered Romania’s airspace. However, the Romanian Defense Ministry denied this claim.
**Poland Scrambles Fighter Jets**
In response to the Russian missile threat, Poland scrambled fighter jets in western Ukraine.
