Political Parties to Get Funding
The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that six political unions will get funding. This decision is based on the results of the recent parliamentary elections.
The six parties are: Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia; United National Movement; Lelo for Georgia; Alliance of Patriots of Georgia; New Political Center – Girchi; and Gakharia for Georgia.
According to CEC, one party refused to get funding. This was Coalition for Change – Gvaramia Melia Girchi Droa.
The deadline for parties to refuse funding ended on December 26 at 6:00 pm.
