Nika Melia, a leader of the “Coalition for Change,” has reacted to the US sanctions against Bidzina Ivanishvili, honorary chairman of the “Georgian Dream.”
Melia said on social media that money is everything for Ivanishvili. He uses it to stay safe and in power.
**What Matters Most**
According to Melia, Ivanishvili’s life depends on having access to financial resources. If he can’t get this money, he fears losing control of the country.
**Failure to Fix It**
Melia also pointed out that people who work for or support Ivanishvili have promised him they would “fix it.” But now, with US sanctions in place, they are losing what matters most – access to funds.
