American Congressman Joe Wilson has spoken out about sanctions against Georgian politician Bidzina Ivanishvili.
Wilson is Chair of the Helsinki Commission. He wrote on his X page: “I welcome the sanctioning of Bidzina Ivanishvili.”
He said Ivanishvili hates America and loves China and Iran. Wilson thinks this is a problem for Georgia‘s democracy.
The Congressman called for these sanctions in 2020, with the Republican Research Committee. He wants free and fair elections to be held in Georgia as soon as possible.
