This growth was driven by various sectors such as construction, manufacturing, and information and communication. However, the energy sector experienced a decline. Overall, the average real GDP growth for the first seven months of 2024 was 9.7%. These figures were released by the National Statistics Office of Georgia on August 30. Despite this positive news, the country‘s economy still faces challenges, particularly in the energy sector.
