Badri Japaridze Talks About New Elections
Badri Japaridze, a leader of the coalition “Strengthening Georgia,” said that they have already presented their part in organizing new elections. Now others are working on it and will coordinate with them.
Japaridze stated that President Salome Zurabishvili is trying to ease tensions in the country. He said she wants people to come together, not fight each other. Japaridze believes the only way out of the current crisis is through new elections.
The coalition does not recognize the decisions made by the current parliament. Japaridze stated that every decision they make is illegitimate because they do not have a rightful place in government.
