**Lithuania’s Ambassador: Georgia Needs New Elections**

Georgia’s democracy is in trouble, says Lithuania’s former Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius. He believes that only new free elections can solve the country‘s crisis.

In a post on social media platform X, Linkevičius wrote that it’s easy to fail when people don‘t stand together at important moments. He thinks Georgia needs to stay on its path towards Europe and support its president in her efforts to keep this goal alive.

Linkevičius is urging for clear support of the Georgian president’s plans. He believes that this will help stabilize the country’s democracy.
