Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev says a plane crashed on Christmas due to external damage.
Aliyev claims that Azerbaijan Airlines Flight JS-8432 was shot down from the ground near Russia‘s Grozny. This happened while the plane was flying in Russian airspace, according to news agency Trend.
The president stated his views about the crash. He said that Russian explanations for what happened were not true.
