Vucic appeared on Pink TV and said that the protesters were trying to disrupt others’ celebrations. He also claimed that the protests were receiving foreign funding, but did not provide evidence.

The president defended Serbia’s media freedom, saying that anything can be published about him. However, he criticized some public figures who support the protesting students and claimed that “anti-Serbian forces” are trying to bring down the government.
