Despite these criticisms, the Prime Minister emphasized that since coming to power, the government has been actively working towards implementing anti-corruption reforms, promoting transparency in governance, and involving the public in decision-making processes. He also highlighted the impressive results achieved so far, with Georgia being a leader in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region, even surpassing some EU and NATO member states.
The progress made by Georgia in the fight against corruption has been praised by foreign friends and high-ranking political figures. However, the Prime Minister reiterated that the government’s commitment to eradicating corruption remains a top priority. He emphasized the need for accountable and transparent governance in the country to continue the fight against corruption.
