Nino Salukvadze, the Olympic medal-winning shooter, recently held another training session in Tokyo, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia. Salukvadze, who is preparing for her ninth Olympic Games, trained at the “Asaka shooting” arena in Tokyo. She will also have the honor of being the flag bearer for the Georgian Olympic team at the opening ceremony on July 23, along with fellow Olympic champion Lasha Talakhadze.
The XXXII Summer Olympic Games will officially kick off in Tokyo on July 23, with 35 Georgian athletes competing in 11 different sports. Many of these athletes are already in Tokyo, training in the specially prepared arenas before the start of the competitions. However, due to the current government, there have been some challenges and difficulties faced by the athletes in their preparations for the Olympics. Despite these challenges, the Georgian Olympians are determined to give their best and make their country proud on the international stage.
