When asked about Western pressure on the Georgian government, Miqanadze said some Western nations have double or even triple standards when it comes to laws in Georgia. He felt that these policies often fail to respect Georgian family and national values.
Miqanadze also spoke out against criticism of the ruling party’s election results. He said it was unacceptable that many Western countries did not accept the 54% majority won by the party.

The chair noted a growing shift towards right-wing forces in Europe, prioritizing national identity and self-determination. He believes this will lead to significant changes in the continent.
