Protests Planned Across Georgia on January 5
Georgian cities will see several protest rallies on January 5, in addition to the capital Tbilisi. The events are aimed at expressing public discontent and supporting various causes.
Tbilisi Events

* Students from the Free and Agricultural Universities will gather near Rustaveli Metro for students of the Theatre University at 17:00.
* A rally will take place in front of the Parliament at 19:00.
* Protesters demanding “Prime Time for the People!” will hold a protest at the Public Broadcaster at 19:00.
* Fans of the “Men’s Show” will march at Republic Square at 19:30.
* A gift collection and distribution event will occur near the Christmas tree by the Parliament from 19:00 to 22:00.
* Supporters of small entrepreneurs will hold a rally at the Orbeliani Market (Vekua Street 3a) from 19:00 to 22:00.
* A protest involving medical masks will be held at the Parliament at 22:00.
Regional Protests

* In Zugdidi, protesters will gather in front of the Regional Administration at 17:00 for a rally titled “We Protest the Russian Regime!”
* A rally titled “In Service of the Homeland!” will take place near the Constitutional Court in Batumi at 19:00.
* Supporters will hold a rally titled “Yes to Europe, No to Russia!” in front of the City Hall in Kutaisi at 19:00.
