**Criticism of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Visit to Georgia**
The head of the German parliament‘s foreign affairs committee, Michael Roth, has spoken out against a planned visit by the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Pia Kauma.
Roth believes that visiting Georgia right now would be a mistake. He thinks that the government and parliament in Georgia are not legitimate because of unfair elections.
**Demand for New Elections**
Roth says that the only way to solve the crisis in Georgia is to hold new free and fair elections. He wants the European Union, the Council of Europe, and the OSCE to demand these new elections.
The planned visit by Pia Kauma and a delegation from January 8-10 has been criticized by some officials.
