The head of Ukraine’s State Customs Service, Serhiy Zvyagintsev, is being investigated for not declaring a home worth over $100,000. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) suspects that Zvyagintsev and his family are the true owners of the property, which was registered under his father-in-law’s name.

In 2013-2014, Ukraine introduced a system for officials to declare their assets as part of the country‘s fight against corruption.
