The Russian invasion of Ukraine has entered its 1,048th day. Here are the updates from the General Staff.

**Enemy Attacks and Strikes**

Yesterday, Russia launched three missile strikes using four missiles on Ukrainian positions and settlements, as well as 65 dropping 99 KABs (high-explosive fragmentation bombs). The enemy also carried out 5,484 attacks, including 188 from multiple launch rocket systems. Additionally, more than 2,900 kamikaze were used to strike Ukrainian targets.

**Key Areas of Conflict**

* the Kharkiv direction, there were two failed enemy attacks in the Vovchansk area.
* In the Kupyansk direction, four enemy attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders near Zagryzove.
* In the Lymansk direction, the enemy attacked 12 times and attempted to advance near several settlements.
* In the Kramatorsk direction, seven enemy attacks were thwarted in various areas.
* In the direction, 12 enemy attacks were repelled near Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, and Krymske.

**Ukrainian Response**

The Ukrainian Defense Forces responded with 26 strikes on enemy concentrations, hitting four UAV control points, three , and five artillery systems. They also successfully repelled numerous enemy attacks in various directions.

**Losses on Both Sides**

Over the past day, Ukraine reported significant losses among Russian invaders: 1,550 soldiers were killed or injured. Ukrainian forces also neutralized 14 tanks, 45 armored combat vehicles, 62 artillery systems, one MLRS, two air defense systems, and other enemy equipment.

**Ukrainian Forces Continue Operation in **

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their operation in the Kursk region of Russia, where they have successfully repelled 47 attacks by Russian forces. The operation has inflicted significant losses on the Russian invaders, including eight air strikes using 14 KABs and 445 artillery shells.
