**Russian Attacks on Ukraine Kill 19 Civilians, Hurt Many More**
Over the past day, Russian attacks across Ukraine killed at least 19 civilians and injured at least 132. The majority of the casualties happened after an airstrike in Zaporizhzhia.
**Many Drones Launched Against Ukraine**
Russia launched a large number of drones against Ukraine overnight. According to reports, 70 Shahed-type attack drones and various dummy drones were used. Out of these, 46 were shot down over nine regions, while 24 dummy drones got lost in the air.
**Industrial Facility Hit in Zaporizhzhia**
On January 8, a Russian airstrike hit an industrial facility in Zaporizhzhia. At least 13 people were killed and at least 113 injured. Fifty-nine people have been hospitalized, with 10 in serious condition.
**Other Areas Affected**
In the village of Stepnohirsk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, two people were killed and two injured in a Russian attack. In Kharkiv Oblast, two women were injured after a drone attack on January 8. They did not require hospitalization.
**More Casualties in Kherson and Sumy**
In Kherson Oblast, four people were killed and 10 injured in Russian attacks over the past day. Two high-rise buildings, four houses, agricultural machinery, and cars were damaged. In Sumy Oblast, five civilians were hurt in Russian strikes on January 8.
