**Thousands March in Support of Belgrade Law Students**
A large crowd gathered in central Belgrade on Tuesday evening to show their support for students at the city’s law school. The students had been attacked by thugs overnight.
The march was peaceful, with protesters chanting “Justice, justice” and carrying banners featuring a red handprint symbol. Many people in cars along the route greeted them with approval.
**Students Speak Out**
Before the march began, a student leader addressed the crowd through a megaphone. He emphasized that the large turnout showed solidarity with their colleagues at the law school.
“We have no leaders, we follow no one,” he said. “But together, we follow one voice – the voice of common sense.”
He added that his colleagues had suffered injustice and were victims of yet another crime in a series of attacks that would likely continue. He vowed that the protesters would put an end to it.
**Support from Professors and Politicians**
Many professors at Belgrade University expressed their support for the law students, while numerous political parties condemned the attack on them.
