**Drone Hits Russian Distillery**
A drone struck a distillery in the village of Novaya Lyada in Russia’s Tambov Oblast on January 14. This was reported by the Russian Telegram news channel Astra, citing local residents.
The fire broke out at the distillery, which is located near a military training ground. However, we could not verify this information.
Russian officials have not commented on the alleged attack. Instead, they said that air defense units intercepted a drone and it exploded in a tree.
This is not the first time Russian alcohol plants have been targeted by drones. In October 2025, a distillery in the town of Rasskazovo caught fire after being hit by a drone.
The attacked distillery produced products important for the state, including ethanol, which is used to make explosives.

A source in the Security Service of Ukraine said that these strikes were successful and covered an area of up to 1,100 kilometers (620 miles).
