Levan Gogichaishvili says: I saw the police take away the head of Sheraton’s security service. I get the impression that there was no investigation. This is a political offense, and no one will let it “go”  

Attack on Giorgi Gakharia: A Politician Speaks Out

Levan Gogichaishvili, a leader of the “Gakharia for Georgia” party, says that the attack on opposition politician Giorgi Gakharia was a crime. He believes that no investigation was carried out at the scene.

Gogichaishvili said: “I have the impression that nothing was done. The police took away the head of the Sheraton hotel security. They put him in a white car, and it made no sense.”

He also talked about video evidence. “It will be difficult for them to destroy this,” he said.

Gakharia was attacked at the Sheraton Hotel in Batumi last night. He has a fractured nasal bone and concussion.

There was another confrontation in the hotel, between Zviad Qoridze and Dimitri Samkharadze and his group.
