Giorgi Gakharia, the leader of “Gakharia for Georgia,” says his health is stable. He posted this information on Facebook.
Gakharia thanked his supporters and told them that their help is needed now more than ever for people who are unfairly imprisoned.
On Tuesday night, Giorgi Gakharia was attacked at a hotel in Batumi. The politician was taken to the hospital but later left. Doctors said he had a broken nose and concussion.
Another confrontation happened at the same hotel involving Zviad Qoridze, an NGO representative. He said he was confronted by Dimitri Samkharadze, a member of “Georgian Dream,” and his friends.
