**Ukrainians Uncertain About Peace Deal with Russia**
A new global poll has found that Ukrainians are divided on what a potential peace agreement with Russia should look like. The poll, conducted by the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR), presented respondents with four options relating to NATO/EU membership, security guarantees, and economic cooperation.
**No Clear Consensus**
The poll results show that there is no clear consensus among Ukrainians on what a peace deal with Russia should include. Some 42% of respondents said that the deal should prioritize Ukraine‘s sovereignty and territorial integrity, while 31% believed that NATO membership was essential for securing peace.
**Security Guarantees Key**
However, the poll also found that security guarantees were a key concern for many Ukrainians. More than half (55%) of respondents said that a peace deal with Russia should include measures to prevent future Russian aggression and ensure Ukraine’s security.
**Economic Cooperation Important**
The poll results also highlighted the importance of economic cooperation in a potential peace deal. Almost two-thirds (64%) of respondents believed that economic cooperation, including trade agreements and investment opportunities, was essential for securing peace.
**No Confidence in Russia’s Good Faith**
Despite these divisions among Ukrainians, there is little confidence in Russia’s good faith. The poll found that only 15% of respondents trusted Russia to respect Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
