The attack on the oil depot comes amid an increase in Ukraine’s drone operations targeting Russian energy infrastructure. Overnight on January 14, Ukraine carried out a major strike on Russian military and industrial facilities within a range of up to 620 miles. The targets included chemical plants, refineries, and ammunition depots at the Engels airbase.
