Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze spoke about a recent incident involving the director of “Batumelebi,” Mzia Amaglobeli. She was involved in an altercation with a police officer.
Kobakhidze said that the police represent the state and are inviolable. He stated that any action against them is a serious crime. The Prime Minister emphasized that the state will take measures to address such incidents.

He pointed out that the investigation should focus on the signs of a crime, not the person’s profession or party affiliation.
