Serbian Homeowners to Pay More Loans

The National of (NBS) has change that will affect many people with bank loans their homes. As of , the limit on interest rates for these loans is being raised from 4.08 percent to 5 percent.

This means that most people who are paying back housing loans will see increase their monthly payments. However, some people may actually pay less each month. This could include those who got a mortgage after July 2022, when interest rates started rising. They were not bound by the old limit rule and had higher interest rates on their loan contracts.

People who took out mortgages in 2023 already have interest rates higher than 5 percent, so they won’t be affected by this change.
