**US Criticizes Georgian Government**

The US government has spoken out against violence in Georgia. The country‘s ruling party, “Georgian Dream“, is being criticized for its tactics.

People are being hurt and arrested. Journalists and opposition figures are also being targeted. This includes Giorgi Gakharia, a well-known politician. The US says this kind of behavior will make it harder for Georgia to work with other countries.

The US government wants Georgia to be open and fair. But the country’s current actions are going in the opposite direction.
