Noise Breaks Out at Tbilisi State University Exam Space
There was a clash between students and university security staff in the exam space of Tbilisi State University. The incident happened after security tried to enter an area occupied by protesters from the “May Student Movement“.
The “May Student Movement” had blocked access to the exam center with chairs, tables, and other objects yesterday. They said they were protesting because it’s hard to study when some students are in prison, don’t have a place to live, or enough scholarships.
When security tried to enter the space today, protesters reacted angrily. “Is this how university security protects students?” they asked. The clash between students and security was a sudden and unexpected event.
