**UK Woman Appeals for Medical Donations to Help **

A woman, Tanya Tyiko, is on a mission to help those affected by the in Ukraine. She recently visited her homeland and was shocked by the destruction she saw.

Now living in Bromsgrove, Ms Tyiko wants people to donate medical equipment to help soldiers and civilians in Ukraine. She knows that small actions can make a big difference. The donations will be sent to a near Kharkiv, where one of her former is working as a medical intern.

**Essential Items Needed**

Ms Tyiko says crutches, walking frames, foot fracture boots, blankets, and dressings for wounds are among the essential items needed. These simple things can make a big difference in helping people recover from sustained during the war.

**A Desperate Need**

Ms Tyiko’s appeal is urgent one. “Our city is bombed every day and every night without stopping,” she said. “And new people are being wounded every day. It is a desperate need for any medical equipment that could be useful for to help them.”

**Support from Community**

Bromsgrove and Redditch Welcome Refugees are supporting Ms Tyiko’s appeal. Medical intern Danya Suhokon, 21, who is helping receive donations, says injured soldiers and civilians will be extremely grateful.

“It is very difficult to describe in words what is happening now in beloved city without tears,” he said. “Air raid sirens more than 10 hours a day… it is terrible.”
