**Russian Attacks Kill Two, Injure Seven in Ukraine**
Over the past day, Russian attacks against Ukraine have resulted in two civilian deaths and seven injuries. This was reported by regional authorities on January 27.
**Drone Attack Foiled**
Ukraine’s Air Force said that overnight on January 27, Russia launched a large-scale drone attack on Ukraine, using 104 Shahed-type drones and decoy drones. Air defenses shot down 57 of the enemy drones over 10 oblasts (regional areas). The remaining 39 decoy drones were lost in the airspace.
**Damage and Casualties**
One person was killed, and two others were injured as a result of Russian attacks on the city of Kherson and other regional settlements. In Donetsk Oblast, one person was killed and four were injured due to Russia’s attacks. An 86-year-old woman was also injured in Kharkiv Oblast.
**Infrastructure Targeted**
Russian drones targeted a critical infrastructure facility in western Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. The strike started a fire but did not result in any casualties.
