**EU Takes Action Against Georgia’s Government**
The Latvian Foreign Minister, Baiba Braže, spoke out against the Georgian government in Brussels. She said that they do not respect the will of the people, as shown by recent protests in Tbilisi.
The EU has taken action against Georgia’s government. They have changed visa policies for government officials so they can no longer travel to the EU without a visa. This shows that the EU does not support the government if it is linked to suppressing peaceful protests or attacking journalists.
Latvia has also banned certain officials from entering their country. The Latvian Foreign Minister said that there is still an opportunity for Georgia to have a European future, but only if they respect the will of the people.
