EU Limits Travel for Georgian Diplomats
The European Union has stopped allowing diplomats from Georgia to travel without a visa. This change was announced by EU High Representative Kaja Kallas.
Kallas said that the funds originally meant to help the government of Georgia will now go to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and civil society groups instead. She made these comments in Brussels before a meeting of EU Foreign Affairs Ministers.
The EU ministers are set to discuss Georgia’s situation today.
