**Georgian Delegation Suspends Work in Council of Europe**
The Georgian government has suspended its work at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Tea Tsulukiani, a member of the “Georgian Dream” party, made this announcement.
Tsulukiani said that many provisions in a recent resolution are unfair and unjust. She also stated that some people had tried to stop Georgia’s delegation from joining the assembly, but their plan failed.
The resolution was finally passed with conditions. However, the main condition is not acceptable to the Georgian government because it goes against the country‘s sovereignty and ignores the will of the voters.
**Reason for Suspension**
Tsulukiani explained that the Georgian Dream team made a unanimous decision to suspend work in the assembly. They believe that as long as the Georgian government is treated unfairly and with disrespect, there is no point in participating in the assembly.
Georgia remains a member of the Council of Europe as a country. However, the Georgian delegation will only resume its participation when the unfair attitude towards the Georgian state and people changes.
**Support from Citizens**
Tsulukiani thanked citizens for their support and attention. She felt that every individual’s backing was important to the Georgian government.
