** Restrictions Georgia?**

The of Georgia is planning make changes to the “Media Law”. This has some people talking about restrictions on freedom of the press. However, the Prime Minister says that this is necessary.

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, media freedom in the UK is restricted, and Georgia should follow a similar model. He believes that certain media outlets are causing problems by spreading lies and inciting hatred.

**Changes on the Way**

Mamuka , chairman of the “ ” faction, has stated that the government will soon initiate the new “Media Law”. This law is supposed to establish standards for journalistic and objectivity in the media. It will also define mechanisms for monitoring and protecting these standards.
