**Georgia’s Path to EU Membership Uncertain**
The European Union is not happy with Georgia’s current government. Estonia‘s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Margus Tsahkna, said that Georgia will not join the EU if it continues down its current path.
**Violence and Sanctions Ahead?**
Tsahkna warned that if Georgian officials keep using violence, more sanctions are coming. These could include revoking visa-free travel to Europe for Georgian citizens. This would make it harder for people from Georgia to visit or work in the EU.

The Estonian Foreign Minister believes that new elections in Georgia are the way out of its current crisis and a step towards rebuilding trust with the international community.
**Georgia’s Government Under Fire**
Tsahkna criticized Georgia’s ruling party for taking the country further away from democracy and a Western-oriented foreign policy. He said this makes it unlikely that Georgia will join the EU anytime soon.
