**Serbian President Celebrates Statehood Day**
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is celebrating Statehood Day. This year’s celebration took place on February 15.
**World Leaders Congratulate**
Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron sent congratulations to President Vucic on this special day.
According to a press release from the President’s office, Putin wrote that Serbia and Russia have a strong strategic partnership. He said that despite difficult international conditions, their relationship is getting stronger.
Putin also mentioned the centuries-long friendship between Russians and Serbs. He expressed his confidence in continuing to strengthen cooperation and working on joint projects.
**France Supports EU Path**
Macron congratulated President Vucic on Statehood Day. France is confident that Serbia will have a bright European future. Macron said that France will continue to support Serbia’s path to the European Union (EU).
