Lithuanian Politician Praises Georgian President
Žygimantas Pavilionis, a high-ranking Lithuanian politician, has praised the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili. He met with her recently and was impressed by what she stands for.
In a social media post, Pavilionis called Zurabishvili a “true symbol of honour” for the people of Georgia. He said that Georgia will never be controlled by Russian influence, which he referred to as the “product of Kremlin hybrid activity”. He also mentioned something called the “Georgian Nightmare”.
Pavilionis expressed hope that one day Georgia would become a fully independent country, part of both the European Union and NATO.
