**Questions About the Past Need to be Answered**
A politician from Georgia is calling for answers about a sensitive time in the country’s history. Levan Gogichashvili, a leader of the party “For Georgia”, wants to know if Bidzina Ivanishvili paid money to police after they cracked down on protesters in November 2007.
**Unpunished Officials**
Gogichashvili also believes that many people who worked for the previous government are still not being held accountable. He mentioned several examples, including judges, prosecutors, and politicians who are still in power today.
**Investigative Commission**
The politician criticized a commission set up to investigate the elections, saying it is not doing its job properly. He pointed out that some key figures involved in the previous government are not being questioned about their actions.
**Questions Need to be Answered**
Gogichashvili wants answers to several questions, including how Mikheil Saakashvili got more than 55% of the vote in a particular region during the 2008 presidential election. He also wants to know if Ivanishvili’s foundation gave bonuses to police who attacked protesters and later targeted a TV station.
