Dimitri Tskitishvili, a Georgian politician, has made some shocking comments about the country‘s democracy. He said that he would not rule out creating a new court system where just three people could declare someone a traitor and have them executed.

Tskitishvili mentioned “Troikas” – a reference to the Soviet Union’s special courts. These were made up of three high-ranking officials who would decide someone’s fate without a fair trial. The politician said that creating such a system was not out of the question.
