**New Media Laws to Be Discussed in Georgia**
The government of Georgia has announced that it will start discussing a new media law next week. This law is about the FARA (Foreign Agents Registration Act) and how it should be applied.
According to Shalva Papuashvili, a government official, anyone who finds any issues with the words, commas, or periods in the text of this law should contact the US authorities directly. This suggests that the law will closely follow international standards.
The government also plans to introduce a new media law based on British standards. Mr. Papuashvili stated that they are not inventing anything new, but rather adopting an existing model from another country.
