Germany Stops Helping Georgia in Science and Education
The German government has stopped working with Georgia on scientific projects, student exchange programs, and European Union programs. This decision was made by the German Ministry of Education and Research.
According to Germany’s ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, this move is due to restrictions on academic freedom in Georgia. The suspension also affects Georgia’s participation in EU programs.
