**Cleanup Operations Underway in Guria**
The Chairman of Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, has spoken about the situation in Guria. He said that access to many villages has been restored and cleanup operations are underway. The Prime Minister is on-site and personally leading the process.
Papuashvili noted that while other regions are experiencing heavy snowfall, the situation in Guria is more severe. The snow continues to fall, making it difficult for workers to clean up. However, efforts are being made to restore access to villages and provide assistance to those in need.
**Government Responds to Crisis**
The Chairman of Parliament praised the work of firefighters, police units, and the Ministry of Defense who are involved in the cleanup process. He also commended doctors who are working intensively to help those affected by the disaster.
Papuashvili emphasized that the entire process is under control and necessary work is being carried out.
**Opposition Criticized**
However, Papuashvili also criticized the opposition, its media, and NGOs for trying to spread panic and confusion in society. He accused them of spreading false information and using the crisis for political purposes.
Papuashvili urged everyone to remain united during this difficult time. He noted that this is not the first time that the opposition has tried to undermine society’s solidarity and empathy.
