**Russian Attacks on Ukraine Kill 6, Injure 26**
On March 3, regional authorities in Ukraine reported that six civilians were killed and 26 others injured by Russian attacks over the past day.
The attacks were carried out using drones launched from Russia. According to Ukraine’s Air Force, 83 drones were launched overnight from the cities of Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primosk-Akhtarsk.
Ukraine’s air defense system shot down 46 drones in various regions, including Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Zaporizhzhia. Another 31 drones disappeared from radar without causing any damage.
In Kherson Oblast, Russia targeted 25 settlements, including the regional center of Kherson, killing four people and injuring 10 others.
**Other Attacks Across Ukraine**
In Donetsk Oblast, two civilians were killed and one injured in the city of Pokrovsk. One person was also injured in the town of Kostiantynivka.
In Kharkiv Oblast, Russian drones hit a five-story building, injuring eight people, including a 6-year-old child.
In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Russian forces targeted the town of Nikopol with artillery, injuring an 84-year-old man and two women.
**International Response**
The international community has been responding to the conflict in Ukraine. Canada introduced new sanctions on March 2 against 10 Russian individuals and 21 entities.
U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that he will meet with his top national security aides to discuss a potential truce plan, which would include ground and maritime operations, as well as energy infrastructure.
